18.01.2022 As you may have already heard the news this afternoon, the Australian Government has imposed further restrictions on non-essential public gatherings. Due to the... necessary measurements that have been put in place, One Life Church will not be meeting at either our Mudgee or Kandos locations for our Sunday services commencing this Sunday, 22nd March 2020 until further advised. Instead, Church is going to look a bit different starting this Sunday morning, we will be transitioning to Sunday Connect Services online. Via a weekly link that will be sent direct to your e-mail, Church is going straight to our living rooms. At One Life Church, we value community, so we would love to encourage you to stay connected if you are well and able. One of our many home hosts that will be facilitating our Sunday Connect Services will be in contact with you this Saturday with further information. During these unprecedented times, we urge you to continue to care for one another. We are in this together and encourage you to continue to look out for one another and pray for one another particularly those who are in the health industry, in small business and those who are most vulnerable, or unwell. While our Sunday services may have changed, Prayer meeting will proceed as normal, this Tuesday night 7pm in Auditorium 1. Thank you for your understanding during this season of change. Its important that we remember that the church is more than a building. Lets choose to embrace the opportunity that we have been presented with at this time. 02.01.2022 S U N D A Y S E R V I C E U P D A T E Following on from the Important Announcement that we posted yesterday, we need to update you on some changes that we h...ave since had to implement. Rather than directing people to gather in peoples homes as we had originally planned to do, [Sunday Service Connects] we are now encouraging you to stay at home. We will still forward an email link directly to your inbox with instructions on how you can connect with us tomorrow. If you happen to know of someone who is not receiving any contact from us via social media or email, could you please let us know so we can assist in insuring that they are also kept up to date? As mentioned yesterday, we encourage you to continue to care for one another and look out for one another. This can be done by simply giving someone a call and checking into see how they are going. While our Sunday services may have changed, until further notice our prayer meeting will proceed as normal this Tuesday night starting at 7pm in Auditorium 1. If you are or any of your children are feeling sick or unwell, then we ask you to advise us so that we can pray, but please stay at home. During next week I will be recording a sermon titled Choosing Christ over Crisis. Its imperative that we remember that He is still Lord over all things, and that He remains the one true source of all our hope. As we continue to work within Government and health advisors guidelines, we do this with the understanding that according to the Apostle Paul in the book of Romans 13:1 TPT, they too are Gods servants. Every person must submit to and support the authorities over him. For there can be no authority in the universe except by Gods appointment, which means that every authority that exists has been instituted by God. Roman 13:1 TPT There is some good food for thought in this verse for us all during these days that we are currently experiencing NATIONAL PRAYER STRATEGY Our INC Chairman Ross Abraham has been communicating with other Heads of Denominations and all traditions of faith and is calling us to join in the National Prayer Strategy that has been developed and agreed to together. It launched on 19th March at 19:00 hours and has been continuing daily each night at 7pm (in your local time zone). The Strategy is to call our churches at these times to prayer for our nation in response to COVID-19 and release our intercessors across this nation to carry the burden of prayer in this season. Also, Sunday 29th March will be a National Day of Prayer & Fasting. We leave you with these scriptures: 2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Psalm 91:14-15 Because he loves me, says the Lord, I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honour him.
