13.01.2022 Got a few photos here from the The Element Road Series York racing weekend, which just finished up today. Thanks Robert, Rae and Brad for the photos. Day 1 was a hillclimb followed by a crit. The hillclimb also being the State Hillclimb Champs. We had Kate and Emily taking the win in their respective divisions. Ande, Jess and Izzy all also put in solid rides.... The crit that followed in the afternoon proved to be perfect for Emily's strengths as she took the win in the Women's A grade - a massive effort considering her age, with Kate coming third and Jess coming in 6th overall and 2nd in Women's B grade. Ande showed some good form finishing 5th in Men's C grade. Izzy also coming 3rd in Women's C. Today's road race really turned things on it's head. Kate had a massive ride, taking the A grade Women's win with a solo break. Emily, on restricted gears and beyond normal distance finished 5th, but more importantly hit a number of performance PB's - perfect timing coming into nationals. In what was possibly the ride of the day, Jess took 3rd in the B grade women's race, after snapping a rear mech cable, dropping a chain on the climb and then chasing back to the main bunch - to then sprint to 3rd place. A massive ride when it would have been very easy to just pull out!!!! Ande again took 5th in Men's C, showing some very good consistency!!! Izzy rode a great race to win Women's C - again good timing with nationals not too far away!!! Joshua - we hope you are feeling better after falling sick just before the weekend. Also - Keep an eye out for Craig - who is now in China. He will be racing a 1 day race on the 1st of next month and then heads into the Tour Hokkaido the week following. Karl is also back on the bike after a bit of sickness and a small crash. Will Beau actually ever get off an eBike with his sore hamstring????? It can also be confirmed that there was lots and lots of travelling and support by parents and partners this weekend. Kudos to you for making this happen for the racers!!!!

10.01.2022 It's been a while between updates - but that doesn't mean we've had nothing going on!!!! Kea and Andrew just finished Amy's today, after a few months of solid build up training wise. Both have qualified for worlds, with Kea finishing 4th today and Andrew 15th. Kea had a really bad run into Amy's with sickness, which only highlights how tough she really is. At the State XCO champs today, Lachlan took 2nd in U19 mens and Jess took 4th in U17 womens, on a tought technical cour...se by all accounts. Not a big focus for Jess with Nationals coming up in a weeks time. Craig is still waiting to hear whether Tour of Siak will in fact go ahead - which if does, will start this week. Then its back home for a block of training before racing the Tour of Malaysia in October. Joshua has been cleaning up at some local races, showing a touch of good form before nationals this coming weekend. We have Emily (who's been on fire so far this season), Josh, Jess and Izzy all competing. They will all be over there early this week doing the last few preparations. Also..... big gains for Kate - hitting a very solid 20min PB and getting an ftp gain in today’s ATTA two up. I believe she rode with her Dad... Looking forward to what this week is going to bring!!!!

09.01.2022 Congrats crew on a great ride

06.01.2022 Another young hockey star to pull on the green and gold colours plus an Albany cycling duo off to the national champs on tomorrow's back page!
