17.01.2022 I have been really enjoying rediscovering working with hand tools over the last couple of months. I normally use a lot of power tools in the workshop but there is something magical about working with hand tools sharpened and tuned by yourself. Seeing those shavings curl off the blade is very satisfying. This is the project I am working on ,all of the timber has been planed to dimension by hand.

15.01.2022 I have been really enjoying doing some classes recently going back to the basic hand tool skills I learnt when I was doing my apprenticeship. A lot of these skills I haven’t used or not used well for a long time. #unlearn2relearn #lomandraplacestudios

13.01.2022 Delivered these to our lovely customer recently. I’m pretty stoked with how they turned out and can’t wait to see them with the table.

11.01.2022 Progress on one of my current projects. Two of these to do, 2 metre long benches for a dining table.Sanding and staining to go.
