25.01.2022 Our Annual General Meeting is just over 2 weeks away! Dont forget to pop a reminder in your calendar, and come join us on Tuesday the 19th November at 7.30pm. A representative from our new Early Years Management provider - Yarra Ranges Kindergarten Inc - will be joining us. This will be a great chance to ask questions and find out more about YRKI.... We will also be filling PAG (Parent Advisory Group) positions for 2020 on the night. Being a part of the PAG is very rewarding, and a great way to get involved and make a difference at the kinder. If you feel you have limited time, positions can be shared! See you there!

25.01.2022 The kids from both 3yo and 4yo have been busy creating artwork for our Upwey South Preschool 2019 Recipe Book, but we still need lots of recipes! Please choose 2 of your family favourites and email them through to Amanda at [email protected] or you can drop them into the notice box at the kinder.

24.01.2022 The Scholastic Book Club is still running! Below is the link for the virtual catalogue, for the current issue: https://scholastic.com.au/book-club/virtual-catalogue-1/... This issues orders are due in by the 7th May. Orders can be placed as per usual via the scholastic app (no cash orders please). Deliveries will be made to kinder, where the teachers will sort and contact families who are not attending kinder for contactless pick-up. You can also opt to pay for your order to be delivered directly to your home! There are some great deals in this issue and its a great way to continue to support the kinder and keep the kids busy!

16.01.2022 A big thank you to all our USPS families for supporting our Hot Cross Bun Fundraising Drive! We sold 60 packs of Hot Cross Buns and raised $120! Hot Cross Buns will be available for pick up from the kinder carpark after the kinder sessions on the following days:... 3 year old - Monday 23rd March at 2.30pm 4 year old - Tuesday 24th March at 1.30pm Please bring your own carry bag for your buns! Enjoy!

15.01.2022 The Upwey South Pre-school Parent Advisory Group (PAG) is looking for an assistant treasurer to join our committee. The Assistant Treasurer will work alongside our current 2020 Treasurer. We hold monthly PAG meetings, but you wont be required to attend all.... A full handover will be given from our previous assistant treasurer, and if you have any questions about the role please feel free to contact them at [email protected] or our PAG President at [email protected] Being a part of the PAG is a rewarding experience, and a great way to give back to our kinder. 01.01.2022 Term 4 Newsletter, hot off the press!

01.01.2022 Term 4 starts back tomorrow, Monday 7th October! We hope you have all enjoyed the break and are ready for a fun filled Term 4! A reminder that Upwey South is a Sun Smart centre so between September 1 and April 30 the children need to wear sunscreen and a hat when playing outdoors. Could we ask that you apply sunscreen to your child before your session starts, and make sure your child has a hat with a brim that protects the neck as well as their head (i.e. bucket or legionna...ire style peaked caps are not suitable because they leave the neck exposed). Hats can be purchased through the kinder in lots of fun colours, email Bek at [email protected] to place your order!
