For many of you too young to remember the previous generation, it is important to acknowledge the generation Craig Philipson led which essentially handed over 8/9 year ago. Their statistics presented for voting are only from their couple of seasons for University of Queensland. Guys like Craig Philipson and Nathan Reardon have over 5,000 two-day Club runs (more than all current players except Michael Philipson), Chris Hartley has the most dismissals for Queensland. We were also lucky to have guys who played decade of First Grade whilst doing coaching or club administration such as Chris Torrisi, Jarrod Turner, Scott OLeary, Lachlan Stevens and Steve Farrell. Club stalwarts and premiership players, all who love a beer and a laugh. These guys built on brilliant work of generations before them and essentially handed over the reigns to what would become the most successful decade any Club has had. Each generation aims to build on what was done before them to leave their own legacy. Lets see what the next decade will bring!

18.01.2022 In light of recent events impacting the @qldpremiercricket finals schedule, it is with great pleasure that we announce our 1st and 2nd Grade teams as Two Day Premiers for the 2019/20 season . . After finishing top of the table and then winning their semi finals on the weekend, the cancellations of the Grand Finals have resulted in an anticlimactic end to the season. However, with both teams having amazing seasons, there is plenty to be celebrated and credit must go to th...e players, coaches and volunteers who all helped in achieving this great feat. For the first time this century, a 1st Grade team has gone back to back as premiers and there is no greater squad that is deserving. It had been an outstanding season for the @uqcc_blues and many thanks go out to our clubs sponsors, and in particular, @fdc_group who have remained committed and continually supported this great community. In a delicate time, we trust the community will celebrate this amazing success but more importantly we hope you and your families stay safe and healthy as we tackle this tumultuous period. What a season UQCC, well done lads . . . . @fdc_group @uqsport @pradella.developments @clearshot_media @greenbeacon @laporchettastlucia @unimoniglobal
