19.01.2022 END OF SEASON 2020 // Thank you After extra time - the final whistle has blown and Season 2020 is now officially at a close. The UQFC Community has weathered extreme heat, thunder & hailstorms and has started, stopped and restarted under changed rulings and conditions. Yet, through it all - and wholly due to the resilience and commitment of our Volunteers, Sponsors, Club Referees, Parents and Players - we have managed to remain positive and deliver an enjoyable albeit ...modified football experience. 13.01.2022 UNDER 12 DIVISION 1 GIRLS // Season 2020 A fantastic season for this group of girls. With 9 wins, 2 draws, and 3 losses they finished 3rd overall in the 12/1 Premiers competition. Playing with passion & determination they put up an impressive fight to the very end. 08.01.2022 MINIROOS CLUB REFEREES // Registrations OPEN Registrations are now OPEN for those wishing to be part of the hugely successful club MINIROOS referee program in the 2021 Season. Eligible candidates for the Miniroos competitions (U8-U11) will be 12 years or above from January 1st 2021 and will either be a UQFC player or closely affiliated to the club. All UQFC junior club referees and club assistant referees will receive comprehensive training and ongoing me...ntoring and support and once registered - will be contacted towards the end of the year with details and dates of the instruction courses to be held in Jan-March 2021. This season the U18 Div 2 team will work closely with the U18 Div 1 team, coached by Chris Withers, forming a development squad. U18 Div 2 will train twice a week, Tuesday & Thursday 7-9 PM U18 Div 3 & 4 will train once a week, Div 3 on Tuesday and Div 4 on Thursday, 6 -7:30 PM on their respective night.... The U18's program is overseen by our Youth DOC Tony Skinner who will provide a structured framework for the coaching team.
