14.01.2022 Professor Matthew Sanders, Director of the UQ Parenting and Family Support Centre (PFSC) and founder of the Triple P - Positive Parenting Program received his Officer of the Order of Australia, General Division (AO) award yesterday in a delayed investiture ceremony at Government House. It was a private ceremony with the Governor, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey and Mrs de Jersey, in the presence of Professor Sanders wife, Trish Sanders, daughter Emma Sanders, son Ben Sanders and daughter-in-law Kerry Sanders. "It was a very special occasion for me personally and my family to receive this award on behalf of my team in the PFSC and all who have supported our work at UQ for the past 40 years," Professor Sanders said.
