16.01.2022 Perons tree frogs can change colour. Often pale grey-green colour by day and darker brown with emerald green flecks by night. It also has a silver iris, cross shaped pupil and bright yellow and black markings on its thighs.

It is an offence under the 1992 to be in possession of native wildlife... skulls, bones or other remains without the required licenses or permits. Depending on what is in your possession you could be prosecuted and fined a maximum penalty of between $13,345.00 and $400,350.00. On the spot fines of between $667.00 and $2,001.00 also apply. As part of compliance auditing operations throughout South East #Queensland our Wildlife Officers have seized fresh and salt water #crocodile skulls during inspections. Our department regularly undertakes proactive compliance auditing operations across the state in an effort to monitor and regulate the care and management of protected and restricted wildlife. Exceptions apply to Traditional Owners validly exercising their native title rights and interests under Commonwealth law. #qldenvironment
