The building is being constructed on the banks of the Urana Aquatic Centre next to the Urana Caravan Park. We love the Morundah Hotel. Why not stop for a cool refreshment or some food and visit the Paradise Palladium Theatre while you are there. A short walk and you will marvel at 'Toolbox'. This impressive horse sculpture was commissioned by the residents of Morundah to commemorate 100 years of both register...ed and bush picnic horse racing in the village. 12.01.2022 The Urana Post Office was built in the 1870s and designed by the renowned colonial architect James Barnet. The Post Office has recently been repainted and brought back to it's former glory. James Barnet also designed the Urana Courthouse, probably the Urana Public School, the State Library of NSW and Customs House. 07.01.2022 Cool off at the Urana Swimming Pool which opens today. The pool is set within Urana’s sporting centre, Victoria Park which is located 400m from the park so less than 5 minutes walk. The family friendly facility has a large lap pool for older children and adults as well as the perfect sized toddler pool to splash and play.
