07.01.2022 Last Friday, Chado Urasenke Tankokai Melbourne Association organised to have Bruce Hamana sensei provide us a lecture on tearoom architecture. There were 37 people who came, from Melbourne, Sydney, New Zealand, all the way to Beijing. Once again Hamana sensei, you have overwhelmed us with your wealth of knowledge. Thank you for your time and sharing information on the many many tea rooms in Kyoto. It was great to connect you to the Melbourne tea mob and an honour to have you. Thank you to Veronica Taylor who organised the event, and Wendy Lin for helping us. Thank you everyone who attended. I encourage you to post a comment on a key learning you took away from the lecture. For me, I have been thinking about the guest flow and how it would work in my own home if I were to invite friends over for tea.
