10.01.2022 Fox Family ... Friends .. Fans ... Followers .... Below is a link to an important cause... Funds to help one of the most prominent supporters of local bands i...n Brisbane, plus an amazing sound engineer .. Andy Waterer. Andy ran the Urban Humm studio in West End for almost 15 years .. it was his business ... it was also his home. Unfortunately a refurb of the building the studio operated from has meant the studio has sadly now closed down .. SO we are chasing donations to help Andy out ... $3000 is the figure .. and we have made HUGE progression. As per the attached video ... we are giving this awesome pack of band merch to the BIGGEST DONATOR. If you have a few spare bucks ... and would like to do something nice ... we certainly appreciate every dollar, and every donator ... Cheers to the following bands for merch donations .. 07.01.2022 Dear family, friends & other weirdos, it with great sadness I have let you know that our rehearsal space at "Urban Humm" is no longer operational, the new buil...ding owners have asked Andy to vacate. This is an end of an era for him & also The Spaces. It has been our safe place for 8 years. We would also like to give our deepest thanks & love to Andy for all his great work & support to so many great Brisbane bands that have jammed out at Urban Humm. Not to mention the fabulous annual JezStock gigs!!! See more

04.01.2022 Ok by request here is a short list of just some of the bands that have been regulars at Urban Humm studios over the years. After almost 12 years the list is mas...sive so this is just a few of them. There are two bands that by far deserve a shout out. Top of the list by far is HITS after over a decade and their refusal to practice anywhere else, they get number one Humm band. A close second is Lords Of Wong also with over a decade. So lets get down to it, in no particular order. Moterway Ends, The Dirty F Holes, Butcher Birds, ShrewmS, Ironside, BMX ray, My Fiction, Mammoth Woolie, Flangipanis, Schoolfight, CAPTAIN DREAMBOAT, ChocolateStrings, Ladi Abundance Project, Daisy May, Byron Short, Spook Hill, The Thumping Bumjoys, Spent Rent, Pissed On, The Stone Fox, Distant Truth, Repeat Offender, At Sea, The Sunday Sessions, The Driving Conditions, The Grills, Elephant Mojo, The Riot, Roth, Pastel Blase,Z rays, BMX-RAY, the x rays, Moonjuice, Band of Frequency, Hotel 44, Captain Sledgehammer, The Kidney Thieves, The Upsteppers, Doctor Parallax, Acid Theory, The Frail Marys, Killstar, Drowning Kittens, Jabba, Fushia, Macho Grande, Cheep thrills.
