15.01.2022 #HousePortrait ... this week’s work has been fun. A stroll down my own memory lane sketching my childhood home. And a lovely couple who approached me in my local cafe. I like to sketch and paint before work at my day job, they loved my art and commissioned me to paint their gorgeous terrace. Life is good.

12.01.2022 On Fridays I do site visits. So lovely to meet with my clients at the home they’ve chosen to commission me for a house portrait. Hearing their stories of generations before them of life in that house and incorporating a memory as an embellishment is what I love to do. Can’t wait to see this local heritage listed house from the 1880’s come to life as an artwork.
