04.01.2022 REPOST @beerthread LONG BEACH DREAMSICLE ~ (6.8% ABV) NORDIC HAZY IPA ~ A big tangy, juicy, Kveik fermented IPA that's inspired by the Orange Creamsicle. Firstly, this beer has kinda' got me wanting to make/try an Orange Creamsicle and the first thing I did was look up recipes, but anyway - until then the beer will have to do. So it drinks easily with very hefty orange and citrus zest on show with nice floral and fruity tones from the hop profile and a very subtle but smoo...th creamy backbone (not in a lactosey way). The beer is vibrant and reeks of Spring, so it's bang on a perfect choice for a cheeky Tuesday beer after work. I haven't gotten around to trying many Urban Alley beers, but this one has certainly brought me in to their world and tickled me intrigued for what other tricks they have under their belt!
