25.01.2022 Attention climbers: We would like to thank you all for the overwhelmingly positive feedback and support that we’ve received, following the release of last week’s statement. It is a difficult time and we face some tough decisions as we work to keep our staff and community safe during this outbreak.... Today we have decided to step up our measures in response to COVID-19. Starting tomorrow, Wednesday March 18th, we will be enacting a few important changes. - Implementing a climber cap of 100 in the gym at any one time; - Cancelling all upcoming events*, group bookings and climbing classes; - Running yoga and fitness at half capacity to increase spacing; - Phasing in online classes**; and - Shortening our youth program term, this Sunday will be our last session * Excludes Boulderfest which is still a way off ** Great idea direct from the community! We will continue to monitor this situation closely, and will be continuing to post updates to our website. Stay tuned.

23.01.2022 Green-inforcements have arrived! Orange has had a recently received a grade change, and is now the same grade as green! Why did you do this?... Improved grade progression: it can be a tricky step between purple, green and red! This change should help smooth the transition, and provide more projects for intermediate climbers to work on before taking the step up. Greater density: we can now set twice as many greens without overlapping colour! Yay! Longer warm ups: advanced climbers now have way more to warm up on before projecting! Toasty. Rivalry: green vs orange. You now have to choose!

21.01.2022 We are back, and we're ready for you to join us! Yes, we're reopening our doors soon but it’s kinda complicated and there is a heap of info to share with you. What you need to know is that we’ll be reopening in line with COVID phase 2 restrictions announced recently.... This means we will be opening in VIC from June 22nd for sessions of 20 at a time, however this will be members ONLY. We're still awaiting announcements for Phase 3. We are hopeful that this phase will enable greater venue capacity and allow us to reopen for casual entrants (this includes multi-pass holders). It’s going to be tricky, and there is plenty more info that we need you to know. To make things easy, we’ve made a webpage to explain everything in finer detail. Check the link for the full details. 20.01.2022 We're sad to say it, but today's announcement means that we'll be closing the gym once more. Lockdown has been announced to commence from midnight tomorrow night, and will be in place for 6 weeks. This means that we will be closing our doors from 10pm tomorrow night. ... Note to members, all memberships will automatically be placed on free suspension for this period. You don't have to do anything for this to happen. We got you. Stay safe, stay strong. Our amazing yoga teacher Jasmine will be streaming to you LIVE from our yoga studio twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with a different theme each week. 09.01.2022 Annnnnd we’re back with another round of gym updates! Starting tomorrow (November 24th) our gym operation will change to reflect the latest covid restrictions. A full list of changes can be found on our website however the key changes are: ... Venue admission - No need to book! Casuals, pass holders, members free +1’s and spectators are now welcome back in the gym. Member priority booking - Members can reserve a space during peak periods in case we hit our capacity limit. Classes are back soon - we will be adding yoga and fitness classes shortly. Face masks are required - please continue to wear your face mask while visiting the gym. 04.01.2022 A heads up to our casual climbers, price updates & multi-passes are coming. As of Saturday, we’ll be updating our casual admission prices and introducing some new discount multi-trip passes! Casual admission will now be $25 for adult, $21 for concession & $89 for family full day passes.... Those who climb more frequently will also now have the option to grab our new 10 trip multi-passes, valid for 3 years. 02.01.2022 We've BEAN missing you! The UC Café will be reopening this week and we are FROTHING to serve you some delicious coffee. The Café will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8am till 11am, starting this Wednesday 28/10. Take away coffee only and COVIDSAFE regulations apply, that means masks, hand sanitiser and social distancing. Please keep in mind there is a limit of 5 people in the Café at one time and outdoor gatherings are discouraged. We have a LATTE love for our community and we're excited to see you, but we must do it safely. ALSO you may have just heard that November 9th could be a possible date for our reopen, this news is so exciting!
