Between hackathons and launching a venture around Fair Housing, I've also been spending a great deal of time with the amazing crew at makesense helping organise SenseCamp Berlin 2018 - Global Goals. Super excited about this year's line up, which includes keynotes from ProjectTogether and Social Entrepreneurship Netzwerk Deutschland, and workshops and talks from the likes of Quartiermeister, Impact Revolution, ReDI School of... 10.01.2022 It's been a while since I've posted, but it's been a super hectic last 3 months! My Urban CurioCity life definitely has taken an interesting turn. What was meant to be only 6 months in Berlin has turned into a life changing move. Tomorrow's the final day of the SSI Incubator and to cap things off I'll be presenting the first demo of Domi - a digital rental passport and contract management platform with the mission of supporting a more accessible rental market. The #FairHousing project is moving along and myself and the team are gearing up to collect insights from tenants and landlords - particularly focused on the experiences of renting to newcomers to this city that came with no previous German rental history. I've been up since 2.30am making my way from Berlin to Vienna... and onwards to Lyon, France having been adopted by a close friend and her family for Christmas and New Year's celebrations (...yes, big cities are full of holiday orphans). Sneaking in a cat nap at the airport so I'm wide awake for tonight's celebrations. Hugs to my friends and family out there across the globe. Thinking of you all x
