24.01.2022 One of our regular clients had us build a custom coffee table as a wedding gift for their friends, this piece is built out of new and reclaimed materials and is more affordable than you may think!

24.01.2022 The Roof is on!! This is a insulated "Fly Over" roof installed with custom made steel posts fitted through the existing roof! Its pre painted finish gives it an instant fresh new look! This is also a chance to welcome our new team member Dannah! starting as a mature age apprentice! She is going to be a great Carpenter and asset to the Urbane East team!

23.01.2022 One of our mini machines hard at work on an asbestos fence removal job, We use and recommend Asbestos Eliminators for all of our asbestos removal requirements! Our Mini Excavator has a removable cab and telescopic tracks letting the excavator manoeuvre through gate openings as little as 950mm wide!

23.01.2022 A little fly-over roof veranda extension we did at Pomona recently, we love working with/renovating queenslanders back to their former glory, a lot of people don't understand why our clients don't just demolish and rebuild but our clients understand the beauty of a well renovated timber classic!!

19.01.2022 The existing cottage section of Our Paddington project had its floors replaced with Hoop pine to restore the home to its former glory, it then had beautiful white mahogany staircases installed and the modern extensions floors were laid using feature grade mixed species Australian hardwood.

17.01.2022 As a thankyou for being able to take on the project of building this beautiful family home in Paddington we hand crafted a fantastic custom made silky oak and hoop pine book case using dovetail joins and concealed fixings, the silky oak for this project was milled from a tree that was on the building site adding a real personal touch to the home!

17.01.2022 We thrive off a challenge! These pictures are a classic demonstration of our problem solving skills as this queenslander was literally sliding down a hill. To correct the issues we custom fabricated a steel cage to ensure safe manual digging and excavated down to solid ground connecting the footing to the existing house concrete slab. All backed up by our awesome team of structural engineers!

11.01.2022 A crazy hectic day on site today on our paddington site where our renovated cottage and extension project came to life as the electricians and plumber gave it it's power and water! Exaggerated by the fact that this happened in the dark at 6:30pm! it was awesome! Photos soon!!

08.01.2022 A sneak peek at a little backyard renovation we have finished, a beautiful combination of sandstones, timber and earthy colour. We couldn't find a suitable pot for our Balinese fish statue so we used some formwork skills and created our own in coloured concrete masterpiece!
