06.01.2022 Taking a Break....... Social Media Detox. If you have missed our posts and been wondering why you have not seen much content from us over the last month or two, we have been taking a social media detox. ... Won’t be for too long. Due to the post lockdown rush and then Christmas sneaking up on us, we have been focusing on our guests. Working full time on the salon floor and running a business, and has left little time to focus on our social media. At times juggling all the hats can become overwhelming, so we have needed to take a step back and regroup. When we do have sometime...... as we crawl home after 10pm. Staying off the phone and having some downtime to rest and repair, is vital for our mental state. Whether that’s to read a book, listen to some relaxation music, cuddle with our gorgeous doggies or do some meditation. These are the things we found we needed after the post pandemic rush. Putting the phone down and taking a break. The brain just needs sometime to be able switch off, when you are always so switched on. However we are gathering some great content to share and when everything settles down to some kind of Normality, we will be able to refocus, and look forward to all your comments on what’s to come. We felt it by the smiles, the joy, guests bounding out the salon with a spring in their step. The sheer excitement when we called our guests to let them know we were open again and when we would be getting them in. We felt like rockstars.
