21.01.2022 Exploded during the warmer weather
21.01.2022 Who knew there's some great winter fruit! Unfortunately due to transplanting from a pot into the garden it took this tree a while to re-establish itself. About a year really. This year will be the first time this pomegranate tree/bush produced fruit that's stayed on the tree. For the fruit to stay on the tree it needs the right nutrients. If they are not present then the fruit will not mature. ... I've been adding pot-ash from our weekend fires, animal waste and some fertiliser to get it to the stage it's at now. I'm absolutely wrapped with how the fruit has taken off on our block.
20.01.2022 Turned out better than I thought. I'll leave the painting to next week.
20.01.2022 Built a quick removable rack to start the seedlings. If you've got a pergola you could do the same.

08.01.2022 Using fence pailings, I'm making selves for the shed. Time to organise some mess.
03.01.2022 Some of our deciduous trees did not lose their leaves this year. Actually there's at least half of the trees that usually lose all of their leaves, that still have a good amount of them. I'd say we either didn't hit the peak of cold weather or the winter has just been mild. What can this affect? Well if your cherry trees don't get enough of the frozen days you may not see many cherries this year. Though this is very much based on the variety of cherry that you have, but in ...my case it's ones that need some good frosty days. I'd be very surprised if we get many if any this year. Peach-cot you see in the photo has almost retained all of it's leaves and has started to flower once again.
02.01.2022 Here's why I love raised garden beds. It's time to start making one. Spring is upon us :) What do you prefer, raised or normal garden beds? Our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCll21H7ASnrkErW-i95u2TQ
