Float tank sterilization Are you worried about the impact of COVID-19 on the enjoyment of your floating session? At Urban Float, all of our floatation tank water goes through a stringent filtration system ensuring that your float tank water is fresh, and more importantly, clean and sterilized before each use. Our water is filtered 4.75 times through micron, chemical (Hydrogen Peroxide) and UV filters. The presence of Hydrogen Peroxide in the float tank sterilizes the water, then it passes through a UV filter as a secondary sterilization to ensure it’s cleanliness and sterilization. Health post Community health and safety is a high priority at Urban Float and we take great pride in ensuring our centre is clean and safe. We are monitoring the developments of COVID-19 daily and making any adjustments required according to Health Department recommendations. Our regular cleaning measures provide a strong defence against any contagious illnesses, as we disinfect rooms after every session and throughout the day, wipe down handles, dispensers, tables and other high traffic areas and objects. Floatation therapy is great for your immunity and stress levels, being one of the best therapies at removing stress from your system. Each of our tanks contain 500kg of Epsom salt dissolved in 1000 litres of water, which raises the salinity to levels that are inhospitable to bacteria, including microbes and other pathogens. So if you are becoming overly stressed or anxious by the developing situation with COVID-19, then you can be rest-assured that you can relax in our clean and safe float tanks. We are committed to mitigating risk of exposure and have put in place measures within the studio.
