10.01.2022 Indoor plants can sometimes be tricky. They are incredibly sensitive unlike outdoor plants. They are much more susceptible to pest infestations and disease. Another common mistake people make is switching lighting patterns, especially if they are exposed to natural light during the day. Like humans, plants need time to rest. If they exposed to inconsistent or excessive lighting or darkness they can stretch. When they stretch, it becomes too much for the plant to carry all the... new and developing foliage causing breakages. Conventional gardeners are usually unaware of the differences and sometimes find it difficult to diagnose the problems. You’re better off setting lighting schedules with nature and adding supplemental lighting in areas that don’t receive the same level of sunlight and extending the light schedule for 3-4 hours post sunset. Mimicking nature is always best and reduces stress on the plants.
