25.01.2022 With the easing of restrictions has come an updated menu. We are now offering a la carte dining for our dinner service from Wednesday to Saturday. We will have two sittings at 5.30pm and 7.30pm for Friday and Saturday evening bookings, and with the reduced capacity we highly recommend making a booking. We are stoked to be back and seeing so many familiar faces, thank you all so much for your continued support.

19.01.2022 Today is a hard day for our community and our Urban Grounds family. It is with the heaviest heart that we announce our doors will be closing from 10 am today until further notice. We do so in line with the directive from the Federal Government and for the health and safety of our supportive community. The days ahead will be tough and our future is unknown. Over the coming days we will look at the viability of offering takeaway and delivery to our customers but as you can imag...ine there are many moving parts to achieving this and we need to be 100% sure that this can be done in a way that looks after the safety of our family and yours. We will keep you updated on our socials as things change but the most important thing in this time is to stay safe, keep up to date with the advice of Government and please support each other in what ever safe ways you can. Now is the time to rethink how we connect - check in with messages, have a coffee phone date, share a meal or enjoy a drink over video chat. 06.01.2022 To Our Valued Customers, We would like to let you know that during these difficult times, we will be doing what we can to remain open and to provide you with a space where you feel safe and comfortable. There have obviously been restrictions put in place by the government. We believe the current and any future measures are paramount in ensuring the health of our community and we will adhere to any directives put in place. If you are experiencing ill health we ask that you fol...low the directives from Queensland Health in order to #flattenthecurve and we will see you when you are well again. Having said that, it is our firm belief that social isolation can be detrimental to our wellbeing and collective mental health, and we will be trying to find ways you can still enjoy our establishment in the safest possible way. In the meantime we will be limiting our bookings, and removing tables and chairs to ensure ample space for each group of customers. As has always been the case, you are most welcome to order the majority of our menu to take away, and we are more than happy to come to your car with your order. We realise the food is just one small part of the dining experience and we hope we can offer some further solutions in the coming days, weeks and months to enjoy a fuller experience. 04.01.2022 NOT LONG NOW... We are excited to extend our offerings from 7am, 7 days a week. The circumstances for us opening are very different, and we will be working to find the best fit for us, but our initial opening hours from this Sunday will be as follows. We will close at 2pm on Saturday May 16. Sunday -Tuesday 7am - 2pm Wednesday - Saturday 7am - 8pm... To most effectively manage the guidelines for COVID-19 in stage 1 and 2 we will only be accepting bookings made via phone during our operating hours. These bookings will only be taken on the hour for breakfast and lunch bookings and will be for 50 minutes only, so we can safely manage our customer numbers. For our dinner service we will extend our sitting times to 1 hour and 45 mins with set booking times of 5.30pm and 7.30pm. The earlier sitting can arrive at a different time, though must be completed by 7.20pm(depending on later bookings). We will update with a menu in the coming days We have implemented our COVID safe plan throughout the cafe. Things will be different, but the experience will remain the same.
