17.01.2022 Last Saturday really was something special in the Hunter Valley. New venues, new relationships, new customers, new discoveries, incredible woodfire pizzas, live music, more hidden gems way off the tourist trail that really are genuine boutique family run business's that need our support in very difficult times. I can't wait to come back and keep exploring the Hunter Valley again this week.

10.01.2022 Our guests were truly spoilt on Sunday at Crooked River Wines

10.01.2022 Our first trip back into the Hunter Valley today was pretty special to say the least. I took the scenic route through Wollomi & Laguna which was filled with a thick layer of mist the whole way & it felt like I had the whole road to my self. I had time to stop at Laguna for a coffee & take a few photos on my way to meet our guests I attached a few below.... The 6 guests we had today we're amazing & filled the bus with good vibes. It was very obvious the wine makers & owners at the wineries were so happy to see every one, they were so welcoming all day, with huge smiles every where and you could really feel how much they enjoy to see people back as well as all the love & effort they have put into spreading & creating new tasting areas across the out door sections of the wineries in order to stay Covid-19 safe. The Cheese & Condiment platters don't look as appetizing on plastic plates but it was obvious by the reactions of our guests they were still as tasty as ever. I finished a little early & was able to visit Winmark wines on their 2nd day since opening & River Flats soapary which was a little slice of heaven all alone in the sunset. I'll share a few photos that I snapped on my phone, however it wont really do it justice. If you haven't been up to the Hunter Valley yet this year, there's never been a better time than now.

06.01.2022 With the post covid boom in wine tourism upon us & 4 fully customised large group wine tours coming up this weekend, we figure it is a perfect time to share the Legends company motto in relation to large group wine tours. During covid with the help of Rooftop Antics - Travel & Fashion Blog we developed this blog post below "What to expect on a NSW wine tour " as well as a company motto for large group wine tours. https://urbanlegendstourco.com//what-to-expect-on-a-nsw-wi... As a tour operator the relationship with our venues is as important if not more important then the relationship with our customers. Unfortunately our industry is rife with irresponsible tour operstors & customers booking tours with out fully understanding their impact on our industy if their expectations of what to expect are not managed through out the booking process. We can not stress enough that cellar doors are usually small family run business's that heavily rely on cellar door sales for large group wine tours to continue to remain finacially viable for wineries into the future. Urban Legends runs on our company motto of Tours Tailored By Legends, For Legends and we also Support Local Legends. Help us support local winemakers in the Hunter Valley region by tasting their delicious wine, and then buying a bottle of whichever is your favourite. These wineries are usually family run and they make their living from, you got it, selling wine. Big groups visiting cellar doors and tasting multiple wines leave that winery at a loss, even though a small tasting fee has been paid. So without the help of tourism to the area and good customers like yourselves making purchases during your visits, they won’t survive, and tours like this won’t last. Don’t buy that bottle of Yellow Tail from Liquorland, or that case from Dan Murphy’s. Save your pennies and purchase a beautiful bottle of refreshing Chardonnay or a full bodied Shiraz from your favourite winery on one of our wine tours. Drink it, savour it and know it’s a special bottle that came straight form the source and the maker, in the beautiful Hunter Valley wine region. Go on, be a Legend. 04.01.2022 Thank you to all the amazing family run, small boutique wineries that welcomed our groups with open arms over the weekend in the Hunter Valley & on the South Coast. All 46 of our guests really were spoilt to some first class tasting experiences & gourmet cheese platters. The efforts by all the venues were extremely well received and appreciated. The experiences really have lifted to another level since the lock down.... Thanks also to our guests that responded to our company motto and almost all chose to support the wineries we visit by making purchases at every stop a long the way. Some of our elderly customers yesterday even bought $160 pair of boots while on a 30 minute stop in Berry!!! Hopefully if we can all keep spreading the love and good will, we can help play a part in cleaning up our industry so large group wine tours can continue long into the future. Have a great week & see you again soon.
