06.01.2022 How's your garden going in the heat? Even with water-wise plants, mulch, soil wetters, the works, it is my experience that a run of hot Perth days can kill the hardiest of plants. Some supplementary hand watering helps but can cook plants if done at the wrong time - wet foliage sizzles and burns in the sun. Hand water in the evenings and aim at the root ball (unlike this misleading photo!) giving the foliage time to dry out before the next day. Happy night gardening!
