25.01.2022 Masses of feather stars adorn this coral substrate as a small 6 Banded Angelfish swims by. This shot was taken during the late afternoon at a dive site called '...Snake Pit', which is not too far from the amazing Lizard island on the Great Barrier Reef. The visibility was really poor on this dive so it was difficult to get good shots with little backscatter. . . . Canon EOS 7D, Tokina 10-17mm @ 10mm, 1/160th sec, f10, ISO 200. See more

19.01.2022 The next couple of images that I would like to share with you were taken at the world renowned "Steves Bombie", which is situated on the Ribbon Reefs of the Gre...at Barrier Reef, just north of Cairns. Steves Bombie was named after a famous local diver who lost his life while diving this incredible site. Have you dived here before?? many local companies such as @diversden do Minkie whale trips along the ribbon reefs during the winter months. . . . 19.01.2022 Schooling Jacks at "Steves Bombie". This dive was incredible!! We arrived at the dive site and a Minkie Whale was circling the boat. We all jumped in and held o...nto the jesus line and watched it casually observe us while swimming by. After about 30 mins, I jumped out and got geared up to go for a dive. There was so much life everywhere around, and at the end of the dive the Minkie Whale appeared again for one last swim by. WOW!!! . . . Canon EOS 7D, Tokina 10-17mm @ 10mm, 1/250th sec, f13, ISO 200. 11.01.2022 Hi everyone. As you all well and truly know there is a fantastic fund raising event happening at 'The Jack' this coming saturday night, and I have offered to donate some of my artwork to the cause as I have been lucky enough to make a living from the amazing Great Barrier Reef for many years, and I care deeply for its future health and prosperity!! The two canvases that I am donating are 24" x 16" and I really hope that many of you buy tickets to win these beautiful artworks ...to hang on your wall. And I hope that it raises some much needed money for the fight for our reef!!!
