17.01.2022 Hi all, another silly government directive has just been issued after advice yesterday (26 th of March) from Guides QLD to close all guide huts including the one at Willowbank, called the Amberley Girl Guides Hut. 17.01.2022 Hi all. You may have heard by now that I have not been successful in my bid for the Mayoral position. Apologies I have been busy with ongoing work related to the campaign, so I have not been in touch Please do be aware that I have appreciated the help and support of all those who worked incredibly hard on this campaign. I love you all. Thank you to all the voters who saw past the money that was paid for advertising and slick campaigns, while my campaign was self- funded, invo...lved my not working in my part-time job as a Lecturer, while still working as a Nurse Educator. Then spending all my spare time working like the proverbial....with only a two week break to focus fully on the campaign. I am so grateful I achieved the result that I did and I wish all those who have invested in me all the best. Keep safe, look after yourself, your loved ones, and your neighbour. See more
15.01.2022 Hi all, Please be aware that I have just had reports from my supporters picking up A-frames and Corflutes that all of my materials have gone missing from the Amberley State School booth, one Corflute from the Augustine Heights booth, and one of each from the Deebing Heights booth. Please be aware I will be making a police report in the morning if I do not ascertain who has removed them, and it was not for a legitimate reason. An unfortunate end to a challenging but overall fair campaign.
05.01.2022 My Vision for Ipswich: I will promote water conservation in Ipswich through planning for water tanks or other water conservation measures in new developments, and water tank rebates and assistance in planning for water storage in existing developments.
01.01.2022 My Vision for Ipswich: I will work towards improving community design with parks and roadways, pedestrian pathways, to be accessible to the residents and providing spaces where people can exercise and enjoy their community. This may involve ideas such as Skateboarding or cycling facilities for example in Leichhardt and Goodna. With each facility planned to be friendly and accessible to all people.
