20.01.2022 Incredible playing today from our 9's girls. Some absolute savage tackling and pure skill from our team gave us the win against Wright 27-22. Who would have thought the gentle souls of Ursies could unleash their inner Tayla Harris and play such a smashing game? Absolutely incredible stuff, what a start to the AFL 9's tournament!!

09.01.2022 Men's soccer v Johns The video quality does no justice to the exceptional playing from our men's soccer team on Friday night. A strong first half had us keeping the score at 0-0, only to see two goals slip through to finish up with a 2-0 loss. Some exceptional goalkeeping, great clearances from the defence, a skillful midfield and zippy strikers made for an intense and very close game against our (currently homeless) neighbours.

04.01.2022 Ursies women's soccer V Lodge Breaking a multiple-year drought the Ursies girls WON their game against Lodge 5-2 on Friday afternoon, and brought their goal total to six so far his season. Some great skill from our mid fielders and incredible striking from veteran player Miv and new recruit Gen saw the goals fly in our favour, while our defense's remained strong throughout the game. A couple of injuries early on may have left us with fewer subs than planned, but the whole team played a smashing game to bring Ursies a well deserved and exceptionally executed win. To celebrate, the team took the rare opportunity to bewilder the other teams with a stunning rendition of the ursies chant.
