24.01.2022 Have we all been waiting patiently, so massive drum role for 2019/20 Club Champion Charlie Phillips, he holds more Centre Records than anyone else for both U8’s and U9’s in Field and Track, represented our Club strongly at our Zones and Regional competitions, exceptional young athlete, congratulations and thank you to Layla and Chris for encouraging and helping on our competition days.

15.01.2022 One of my favourite "inventions". Pool noodle plus mini hurdles = introductory scissors high jump activity. Just the right height to teach beginners a basic scissors high jump action.

13.01.2022 What a fabulous afternoon we had yesterday. A lot of smiling faces everywhere. Thank you to all the parents that helped. We need more help from the parents and carers to run events and set up and pack up equipment. Also, it is necessary for a parent or guardian to stay with their child/children during athletics. You cannot drop off and pick up afterwards. Next week we have Alvin from Athletics NSW coming to our centre to run some skills workshops for the kids and to learn ho...w to do each event properly. We now have a brand new committee who are eager to keep our club running. So a big Thankyou and congratulations to our new committee members. 07.01.2022 Hi LA's families. Next week (31 March) is our last session for the season, and we have something a little different planned. There will be games on arrival, and then we will kick off the presentations of age and club champions at 4.45 pm. We will also acknowledge every child who showed up, had fun and supported each other this year with a medal. There will be pizza and frozen juice poppers at 5.30 (and most probably more running around/games). Can each family please respond ...to this message by Monday, 29 March with a number indicating how many will be coming along so we can make sure there is enough pizza for everyone (adults included!). We encourage all families to join us to celebrate the effort of all our little athletes this season.

07.01.2022 Little Athletics NSW would like to provide our Centres and Members with an update in relation to Championship (Zone/Region/State) events for the 2020/2021 seaso...n. The Covid-19 Pandemic will have an impact on how we deliver our championship events this season. The board is committed to delivering quality events that keep our members safe. The staff and championships committee have been considering a number of options to achieve this. Whilst we currently do not have the final details we would like to share some of the details with you all: The traditional Zone and Region Championships will not take place this season. A number of State Qualifying meets will be held in the early part of 2021, most likely February. A State Championship Event will be held in March. The full details of the above will be announced in the coming weeks.

03.01.2022 Another great day was had yesterday by our athletes and parents. Just a reminder to parents/ caregivers that you need accompany your child/ren to Little Athletics. You cannot just drop them off and pick them up at the end of competition. This is noted in our centre handbook. We are still seeking more committee members and have had a small amount of interest. Our centre handbook will be updated once new committee members have been confirmed. The weather has been kind over th...e last couple of weeks and we hope it continues on. Don’t forget our sausage sizzle at $2 each, we also have our singlets for sale at $30, plenty of sizes available. If we don’t have your size we will order more. Let’s get down to support 3 big games of women’s football and cheer on our raiders, edging closer to the finals now and the quality of football is at its peak.
