18.01.2022 Congratulations & Thank You to our local FOOD BANK, celebrating their 7th Birthday this week... Many people volunteer to make this happen each week, to assist t...hose locals needing a little bit of a hand with their shopping requirements. Joyce Tarrant & Leonie Sills have been there since the beginning as Co-Coordinators ,along with the support of volunteers Shane Connor, Jayden Luxton, Kaye Knight & Garry. And big thanks to Kellie Small & Lyn for their huge support & guidance. Leonie said " We started the Food bank back in Aug of 2013 at the Anglican Church and we now serve around 300 clients. We moved to Morris Arcade a year ago, and now can supply Free Bread & Veg as well as many other hugely discounted food & personal items, including Books, all thanks to donations from the Community & Bellingen Growers Market... " If you have a Pension card or healthcare card, or have been doing it tough due to loss of job since Covid, you can visit the FOOD BANK now on Thursdays from 10 - 12noon, and Fridays 9;30 -1:30.

15.01.2022 Thank you everyone who donated their bottles to us! you still can donate till the end of August to us. On average you all donated about 800 bottles a month. The money is going towards vouchers for our community members in need. This is a great effort! Thank you very much
