20.01.2022 A few of our group members have been busy presenting at conferences lately, Courtney Waugh presented work on the koala Chlamydia vaccine at the Australasian Wildlife Diseases Conference in Canberra and Martina Jelocnik presented at Monash University Prato Centre https://www.facebook.com/monash.university.prato.centre. And our group leader Peter Timms in currently in Bangkok presenting at IUSTI. Martina went one better and went on to win Best Student Oral Presentation! Congratulations Martina!

13.01.2022 Our team sheds some lights on the relationship between Chlamydia sequence types and disease in Australian livestock! Highlights Molecular typing reveals a link between Chlamydia pecorum strains and disease. ST23 ‘pathotype’ was found in association with diseases in sheep and cattle.... 07.01.2022 A new anti-chlamydial vaccine formulation for koalas utilising a one-shot, longer lasting adjuvant is described by our group in the following paper.
