10.01.2022 COVID-19 Update | 17th November 2020 As you are all most likely now aware, South Australia has seen a resurgence of the Coronavirus following an outbreak in Parafield Gardens. SA Health and the Office for Recreation Sport and Racing have acted swiftly and overnight implemented new restrictions in order prevent a second wave of the virus.... The major impact for us at USC Volleyball Club is the temporary cancellation of community sport, including all trainings, activities and competitions for a two week period. More information will be shared by Volleyball SA as it comes to hand and we will endeavor to keep you up to update as we navigate our way through the coming weeks. In the mean time, stay active, pepper in the back yard or down at the park with your family and stay abreast of the latest COVID-19 updates by following SA Health and the SA Recreation and Sport. The Junior Presentation evening scheduled for the 26th November has now also been cancelled due to the restrictions and we are currently working on whether we will be able to hold the Senior Presentation day in a public park as scheduled for the 29th November. Stay safe, remain vigilant with hand and personal hygiene, social distancing and current restrictions and together we will fight this battle and come out stronger and more resilient on the other side. 07.01.2022 OH WHAT A CLUB! | USC Lion fielded 14 teams this weekend in grand finals across seniors and juniors! An outstanding effort during what has been a challenging year! So far we have seen 11 gold medals and one game yet to be played, Div 2 Men, playing at Kensington tomorrow afternoon against Mt Lofty, good luck guys! USC Lion are proud of each and every one of you, finals or not, you have represented our club with pride, good sportsmanship and gratitude ....
