25.01.2022 What is #virtualfrocktails? In light of the horrible pickle we are in globally, lots of #frocktails events have been postponed or cancelled. @sydneyfrocktails, @cambsfrocktails @dressmakersanonymousbelfast were all due to hold their events on 4th April and happened to be all postponed within a few hours of each other. So the lovely @dressmakersanonymousbelfast came up with the idea of #virtualfrocktails for the same night as our original events were planned. Genius! So o...n the 4th April at 7pm, all we have to do is pull a me-made out of the cupboard, finish the one we had started for Frocktails or get cracking on a new one, post a pic of you in it and then trawl through #virtualfrocktails to see our lovely global community come together and Frocktail like we have never Frocktailed before! 12.01.2022 Happy New Year! Lets get sewing! 2019 was a big year for the Usefulbox Family and I hope we have a new normal and that we are hitting our stride now. But it has taught me that I cant do everything, even though I have high hopes and dreams. So with that in mind, I have planned out the year for workshops and have plotted in our popular Beginner (& weekend) workshops and Next Step Beginner workshops every 6 weeks or so. There are even some Kids Classes slotted in there so w...e dont miss out on that fun. 08.01.2022 UsefulBox Sewing lessons are hibernating for a little while! Oh boy, we all know the pickle the world is in right now and we dont need another COVID-19 announcement. We all know that the best things for us to do is bunker down at home. If you already sew, that sounds pretty darn good. If you are wanting to learn to sew, that is super annoying. Especially as I think it best that UsefulBox goes into hibernation for the next few weeks. It isnt forever. It is just unt...il we are all safer. If you have already signed up to a class, I will be in touch. Once all of us are ready to get back out in world, well ramp our lessons back up and get you sewing quicker than you can say Haberdashery. In the meantime, have a look through some classes that we have available in the months ahead...or purchase a gift voucher for a friend, or yourself! #virtualfrocktails is still happening on Saturday 4th April and you can tune into @sydneyfrocktails for all that jazz.
