15.01.2022 WHATS NEXT? Universal Site Monitoring combating the spread of COVID-19 Help prevent the spread of infections!... Use current, new and emerging BLE technologies with the USM Personal Safety Monitoring System to proactively prevent the spread of infection within your teams. How does it work? Utilising Bluetooth Enabled (BLE) technology to monitor the health status of your employees, is as simple as connecting third party BLE devices, with the Personal Safety Monitoring System (PSMS). When combining the ambient atmospheric data collected using the PSMS devices with the data from third party BLE devices, Universal Site Monitoring is able to analyse the information using predetermined parameters. These predetermined parameters enable the Universal Data Interface to alert and alarm Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) personnel of employees that show early signs of infection, preventing contact and exposure with other employees. The PSMS devices are able to detect : * ambient and atmospheric data (including temperature and contaminants such as gasses that may impact worker health) * location and tracking services( identifying slips, trips, and falls, location in the environment and prior movements that may impact employee health. Third party BLE devices available to purchase are able to detect * core temperature * respiratory rate * fatigue This leading edge personal safety monitoring system can be installed remotely from Darwin at a very reasonable cost. This will upload workers well being information directly into your control room computer (or where required) in real time, giving you total oversight and privacy. 10.01.2022 CURRENT CORE BUSINESS Universal Site Monitoring Pty Ltd is a Darwin based company that has specialised in designing and developing personal safety technology, devices and systems over the past 8 years. Currently there is a team of 12 technicians, engineers, programmers, technical and project management personnel, who have produced the patented and accredited Personal Safety Monitoring System (PSMS) for the O&G, Mining and Industrial industries. USMs PSM Hero715 and the supp...orting technology won the Australian Technologies NERA Award in 2018 and was first runner up in the overall competition. The technology is patented in Australia, USA, UK and Europe and PSM Hero 715 is IS/ATEX/IECEx accredited. Just prior to the epidemic, plans were being put in place for trials in several different countries. These have now all been put on hold for the foreseeable future, so USM is exploring opportunities in the Australian market. COVID-19 Early Warning System. This is an innovative adaption of the PSM Hero and PSMS technology. With the onset of the COVID-19 epidemic, the team got together to look for a simple way to adapt the components of the PSMS to monitor your front line workers health, based on their temperature, respiration (coughs/sneezes) and fatigue. If there are changes from the preset trigger points, an alert and alarm is sent to the user of the system, which can also be accessible by multi users simultaneously. The possible infected worker can be removed and tested immediately thus reducing the possibility of passing on the infection. This system can also track and record workers movements so these can be retraced to allow other possible contacts and their locations to be identified. The system can be downloaded remotely from USMs home base in Darwin, NT Australia. A BLE device and an Android phone are required for each worker and the USMs GAM:A app is downloaded for free from Google Play.. This then connects to USMs Universal Data Interface (UDI) and enables the purchase of a Platform Access Licence for each phone. Technical help is available from USM by phone or online. If you would like help in assessing how USM can help keep your workers safe please contact USM on 0889867177 or check out www.universalsitemonitoring.com.au

We are proud to share with you that Universal Site Monitoring technologies are showcased on our platform! Their unique system replaces the all too common after the incident reactive practice when workmates have not reported in from the field in an industrial facility. MAP, PSM and UDI play a dramatic role when there is a suspected person down and in serious danger. The Mesh Access Point (MAP) , The Universal Data Interface (UDI) and Personal Safety Monitor (PSM) Hero replace that ancient reactive way of trying to look after high risk industrial personnel, with a fully integrated real time monitoring capability of personnel in the field. In this way, the most experienced people on site in the command and control centres that are monitoring the process health and machine safety 24/7, can now also make proactive and sensible real time health and safety decisions around their operations personnel in the field.
