20.01.2022 From our colleagues at The University of Adelaide: As part of a new project the Student Affairs portfolio will be introducing a series of Day in the Life of a Dental Student Vlogs proudly sponsored by WEP Finance group and GUILD insurance. These vlogs aim to connect dental students together by showing the day to day life of dental students and having them share their experience. Through this we hope that dental students can find solace in knowing they are not alone in the unique and challenging experience of becoming a dentist.

10.01.2022 A huge thank you to Australian Dental Association NSW and Guild Insurance for sponsoring the 3rd Clinical Lecture Series event. Without their support this event wouldnt be possible. Also, thank you to Dr Juliette Scott who volunteered her time on the night to talk to us about How to assess and manage parafunction & orofacial habits/pain (bruxism, clenching, thumb sucking, tongue thrust etc.) as a general dentist. It was a very valuable event. Stay tuned for the final lecture series of 2019 coming up soon.

03.01.2022 A message from one of our Alumni Natalia Pinchin for those of you who have ever been interested in in dental volunteering, travelling and giving back. During these uncertain times, many of you are probably dreaming about future travels. We want to know: have you ever considered volunteering while on holiday? Would you like to travel to bucket list destinations while also helping the under-privileged? We are The Travelling Dentists foundation and we are a Non Profit that aims ...to inspire dentists, dental students and pre dental students to volunteer by organising fun and meaningful travel. We have created a survey to identify the barriers against dental volunteering. We want to know what dentists and dental students look for in a volunteering holiday. Our aim at The Travelling Dentists is to change the public perception of dental volunteering as something that is structured and inflexible, into something that is fun and enjoyable. https://docs.google.com//1FAIpQLSey1uPqc-wiJfOSh/viewform This survey will take less than 5 mins to complete. By taking a part in this survey, you will help us create volunteering programs where you can have the best of both worlds - having the time of your life, whilst helping those in need. Thank you
