If youre looking for a motivator to get you out and about, maybe one of the below opt...ions will inspire you to get those shoes on! We have the Cancer Council Tasmania Womens 5km Walk/Run. This event will be happening between the 11th and 13th of September. Make sure you get your entry in and support a wonderful cause. 14.01.2022 Students who have traveled to study at Burnie campus are also encouraged to participate. A School of Social Sciences Honours project is seeking- aged between 18-24- who have moved from a rural area in Tasmania to an urban area (e.g. Hobart or Launceston), to participate in an online questionnaire (taking approx. 20 minutes) about your experiences. In this questionnaire, you will be asked to write a short story about what its like to move away from home to study in the city. I want to take the time to remind residents of West Park and the broader community that support is available for you if you are having feelings of self harm or suicide.
