25.01.2022 We visited today and Mum was awake and alert, although still in pain. We went through the pile of cards she has received. She read them and they now decorate her door. Thank you all so much for sending them and brightening up her room.

24.01.2022 Dad has arrived after a longer than usual trip by XPT. Mum is alert and they are talking, which is wonderful. Dad dropped off a ton of mail addressed to her. Many thanks to everyone! The room is starting to be filled up with them.
21.01.2022 Another move!!! According to Dad/Kath Mum is NOW at the rehab Hospital at Wingham! At this rate she'll be back in Gloucester by Easter!!

16.01.2022 Big big news!! Mum has been moved to the Burns Unit. As that will be her permanent room now, you can send cards and letters to her: Room 11 - Burns Unit... Level 6, Clinical Services Building Royal North Shore Hospital Pacific Highway ST LEONARDS NSW 2065 Our thanks to everyone who has been sending get well cards and letters.
14.01.2022 Bit of a milestone. Mum was up to eating some lunch. A good sign, hopefully moving from just being fed via a feed will be a welcome change and see her mood improve.

09.01.2022 Still a lot of regular changes for her dressings, but a more alert Mum. Not up to eating yet

02.01.2022 Now that the more intensive period of changing dressings has finished, we are heading towards rehab and physio. Mum is eating now and getting to spend more time sitting up! Thanks to everyone sending cards and letters - it is appreciated.
