25.01.2022 Great morning at the Buy it Back Fair, Eaton foreshore. We were kept busy repairing clothes and sharing our Uthando story. Thanks to the Shire of Dardanup for the fabulous recycling day.

18.01.2022 Thank you to Our Lady if the Cape Primary School Dunsborough, for the beautiful dolls, bags, change of clothes, and cards, made by the year 4 students, teachers and family members. They are gratefully received, and will be on their way in the next shipment in December.

12.01.2022 Dolls received from supporters at Santa Maria College in Perth WA came with individual birth certificates and beautifully decorated doll shoulder bags. Now on their way to the children in KZN.

06.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who supported Uthando today at the Stirling Street Arts Centre Fair. It was a fantastic day, with lots of sponsored dolls and craft sales.

03.01.2022 Last packing day for awhile today. Last year I made the decision to step down as coordinator of the Bunbury doll makers. After nearly 8 years, I’m concentrating on making new art works. It’s been such a rewarding experience making dolls and meeting local women, as well as the greater Uthando family. Lots of love sent across the sea. I know everyone will keep making beautiful dolls, and we will come out the other side of our current difficulties. Thanks to Georgia, Lynne,... Lynne, Robyn, Ann, Julie, and the board for all your friendship over the years. The very competent Carolyn Switzer will now be the contact. See more
