12.01.2022 There's a new post on the blog (the link is in the comments) I don't really care for the term "high-functioning" but high functioning anxiety is a term that's o...ften used to describe people who have anxiety and are able to function reasonably well out in the world. Basically we look "normal" or even exceptional. But underneath all of those things that make us look "put together" is a layer of anxiety that's really in control and all of these wonder qualities that we are so often praised for, are rooted in anxiety. Do any of these feel familiar to you? #anxiety #highfunctioninganxiety #anxietysupport #anxietyawareness #anxietyproblem #anxious #anxietyrelief #mentalhealth

04.01.2022 School is every kid's community. Creating connections through socialising and building relationships with their friends and teachers is important for support an...d growth. For seriously sick kids, connection to their school is even more than that. Keeping kids connected helps alleviate the stress and anxiety of sickness, promotes resilience and optimism, and encourages sick kids to remain positively engaged in all aspects of their present and future. Hunter, a Year 5 student from NSW had to trade school days for hospital treatment. But with the help of our See-Be robot service, he can still be a part of his community with his friends and teachers even if he cannot go to school.

01.01.2022 Today is the United Nations International Day of Charity, where we celebrate how volunteers and philanthropy empower our community. We’re looking back at our mi...lestones and all of those who have helped and continue to help connect sick kids to their school community. To our team, partners, schools, parents and supporters - thank you!
