19.01.2022 This is some disturbing research from the UTS Institute of Public Policy. 61% of International students have lost their jobs, 32% were 'finding it difficult to eat properly', 21% are afraid that they might become homeless,... Approximately half were worried that they couldn't pay their tuition fees. Like you and I, these are students that sit in our classes, that participate in our clubs and collectives, and stress over assessments. But now they are faced with the fear of living in limbo. International students are struggling! Universities and governments need to do more to support them. Thank you to the National Union of Students Welfare Department for campaigning for international students.
