04.01.2022 Anti-Slavery Australia's Human Mart is now live on Oxford St! (16-25 March) ASA is the only specialist legal, research and policy centre in Australia focused on the abolition of modern slavery. As part of their work, ASA is currently providing direct assistance to over 400 survivors of modern slavery across Australia with their legal and migration needs. Human Mart is an interactive awareness-raising project developed by ASA. Human Mart presents as a supermarket in which noth...ing is for sale. Instead, customers will have the chance to read true stories of modern slavery in Australia, and to donate to ASA's vital work. Crafted with the utmost respect, care, and consideration for all survivors of slavery, ASA is excited to present their stories to the public. Involving UTS Law Brennan volunteers and ASA volunteers, Human Mart will run as a pop-up at 205 Oxford St Surry Hills, from 16-25th March inclusive. Head on down and take a look!
