18.01.2022 Open classes from 6.30pm on Tuesday and Thursday, and 11am on Saturday. On Tuesday there is group blade work focusing on the fundamentals, and on Thursday and Saturday there are private lessons which are personally tailored for the student. All are welcome

13.01.2022 UWA Fencing Club Update - COVID-19 Lockdown As I am sure you are aware, the Premier has announced a five-day lockdown which (at this stage) is scheduled to end at 6pm Friday 5 February. Accordingly, UWA Fencing Club will be closed from 6 pm, Sunday 31 January.... Further information can be found on the UWA Sports website and the WA Government website here. I am hoping we will be able to re-start as planned on Saturday 6 February but we will endeavour to keep you updated on our plans as things become clearer. 12.01.2022 Dear fencers and parents, in light of the spread of Covid-19 we have decided to suspend all training sessions as per the instructions from FencingWA and the new restrictions to indoor activities set by the government. We will post more information as the situation develops and we hope that everyone can stay safe and healthy in the meantime.

07.01.2022 Its a honour and a privilege to be a finalist as Coach of the Year @uwasport Awards 2019. The work of a coach its not possible without a great team and I dedicate this to all club staff, volunteers, Board Members and specially the athletes. Independent of the awards night results we already achieved our goals: A part from achieving medals in every National event this year in all divisions (U15, Cadets, Juniors, Open and Veterans), plus 2 out 6 medals from Unigames our bigge...st achievement is beyond medals. @uwafencing after the Rio2016 Paralympic Games we have managed to develop a Wheelchair Fencing infrastructure and now we are the first club in Australia to run a specific program for WF and for the first time in the sport history we will send an athlete for a WF World Cup in Netherlands next November!! 06.01.2022 School holidays and equipment workshops: Just a reminder that this Saturday 26/9 is the last day of term for our youth classes, but don’t worry, there are still things to do! We’ll be holding equipment workshops on Saturday 3/10 & 10/10 from 11am onward, all are welcome, and a great time to fix any equipment issues you may have Youth classes begin again the first week back of term from Tuesday 13/10. Coach Scott will also be available during the holidays for private lessons upon request. Happy holidays!
