12.01.2022 Another UWA Marine Ecology field camp completed with an awesome group of people at a magnificent study location and left with some great data to analyse (and great memories of course!) We surveyed lobsters, coral, seagrass and intertidal platforms all around Rottnest Island. Thanks to the Rottnest Island Authority, particularly the rangers for some great interactions.

08.01.2022 We had the pleasure of seeing this phenomenon recently during our undergrad field trip to Albany where we capped off the trip with a night snorkel around Quaranup Jetty. Amazing experience to see my students glowing as they swam through the water!

06.01.2022 Back from another great field trip to Albany with our Field Techniques in Marine Science (SCIE3304) students! Students were split into 4 research groups that investigated fish communities inside and outside Albany port, benthic habitat distribution in King George Sound, invasive species in Princess Royal Harbour and sediment dynamics in exposed and sheltered beaches. Here is a taste of what this looked like... stayed tuned for more! #lovemyjob #championsforouroceans #sciencingisfun #sunshine #glassy
