20.01.2022 POWER MOMENT YOU WILL FIND FAVOUR! Today I take a break from weeks’ focus on the prophets, inspired by a man of God, to be reminded that, FAVOUR happens, it is a blessing of God. FAVOUR is a key theme that runs through the scriptures, (Genesis 6:8; Genesis 39:4; Exodus 33:17; Esther 2:15-16; Daniel 1:9; Psalm 5:12; Psalm 90:17; Proverbs 3:1-4; Proverbs 3:34; Proverbs 9:10; Proverbs 22:29; Luke 2:52; John 1:16 are but few). Success or being prosperous in fulfilling God’s ...purpose and is not just for some privileged, smarter, more intelligent individuals but an outcome of FAVOUR, a blessing that God promises those that diligently seek and follow Him, for The race is not to the swift, Nor the battle to the strong, Nor bread to the wise, Nor riches to men of understanding, Nor [favour] to men of skill, But time and chance happen to them all (Ecclesiastes 9:11, NKJV), FAVOUR happens and is a gift. Our Lord walked on earth with FAVOUR, Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in [favour] with God and men (Luke 2:52, NKJV). Friend, walk faithfully, humbly, obediently, submissively, trusting He who is eternal, He who has called you! YOU WILL FIND FAVOUR because He who has promised IS FAITHFUL! 06.01.2022 POWER MOMENT BEWARE OF THE FLESH This morning as I woke up I felt the urge to sound this warning to us, you and I, about the greatest danger of our spiritual walk, the FLESH or being led by our human nature. You see, we can do and demonstrate so much, yet be easily disqualified from inheriting eternity (as Jesus warned in Matthew 7:21-23), I believe because of this one thing, the allure of the FLESH and no one is exempt, no amount of 'anointing' call or demonstration of p...ower protects one except discipline in total submission to the guidance and leading of the Holy Spirit. Paul warns, "When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God. But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there" (Galatians, 5:19-24 NLT). Friend, let's BEWARE OF THE FLESH and diligently follow Christ in submission to the Holy Spirit, risks of the opposite are higher than even Corona! Lord, this morning I shudder at the thought of missing eternity because of my human nature, help me to flee the works of the FLESH and inherit the kingdom of Heaven, cleanse me with the blood of the Lamb that was slain Pst Melphon Mayaka
