15.01.2022 Better late then never!!!! I would like to thank all our customers and all the local businesses who contributed and helped organise our Pink fund-raiser night a few weeks ago. For the following month of October we've teamed up with local businesses to host a Pink Night Out @ Vaby’s For the next three weeks we will be raising funds through raffle tickets and will be spending October 24th celebrating all things pink with live music and a bunch of prizes to be won!! 04.01.2022 Join us this Saturday 24th for a night of fundraising for Pink Ribbon. We have been lucky enough to have received an overwhelming amount of donations from local businesses and artists who are contributing to our live music or raffle for the night, as well as the donations already received by customers in store. Our initial target of $500 was smashed out pretty fast and we’ve doubled it with the aim of exceeding $1000+. Laura Madeline and Ian Parker will be helping us out on ...the night with our live music, starting at 6:30pm and ending at 8:30pm. 03.01.2022 ****************UPDATE********* In response to the recent government directives regarding the pandemic of COVID-19 & the current outbreaks within the community, we have new government requirements of gatherings of up to 300 people are still allowed, however the new guidelines say there needs to be at least 4 square metres available for every person in an enclosed area. LEGAL REQUIREMENT THAT : ... ALL PATRONS WILL NEED TO REGISTER PERSONAL DETAILS TO ENTER THE VENUE OR THEY WILL BE REFUSED ENTRY. HAND SANITISERS & SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES TO BE ADHERED TO. IF YOU FEEL UNWELL OR WE SUSPECT FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS YOU WILL BE REFUSED ENTRY. IF YOU HAVE TRAVELLED TO VICTORIA IN THE LAST 21 DAYS OR HAVE BEEN TO ANY OF THE COMMUNITY HOTSPOTS YOU WILL BE REFUSED. All staff at Vabys restaurant are following these guidelines and have ensured that all tables / seating areas are strictly within these parameters. We are lucky to have a large indoor dining area to work with and have moved tables/ seating around (2metre gaps between non family/ seperate customersg) to accomodate these parameters, We have an outdoor courtyard, and a large function area upstairs we will still be able to comfortably accommodate guests within the 300 recommendation. These measures are in place for the safety of our customers and our staff. The use of hospital grade disinfectants are being used & cleaning between guests and within the restaurant is our highest priority.
