11.01.2022 This is exciting news for Canning Vale area locals.Public transport has come a long way since I was regularly riding it in the 90s. A train seems to come every 5 minutes. Kids of today are lucky theyll never know the feeling of missing the train and having to wait 45 minutes for the next one, then missing the connecting bus, to get to the next train... which you missed.

So to get this kind of feedback from a slightly tired Daddy was wonderful for us (we were only a LITTLE nervous about cleaning this one). An amazing job by Erin & Lynda.

03.01.2022 The Update from REIWA on what Agents can and can't do. As WA enters lockdown this week, please find below some relevant information regarding real estate transactions. HOME OPENS... With everyone in lockdown and visitors are not permitted in homes, it is reasonable to assume that home opens for properties for sale and rent will not be permitted. Agents can still show properties through videos or walk throughs that have already been made. INDIVIDUAL INSPECTIONS As everyone is in lockdown and visitors are not permitted in homes, it is reasonable to assume that an agent will not be allowed to take individuals to properties for sale and rent. Agents can still show properties through videos or walk throughs that have already been made. PERIODIC INSPECTIONS It is assumed that periodic inspections will not be deemed essential and property managers will not be able to conduct physical inspections during the lockdown. LEASE TERMINATIONS If a lease is coming to an end and the tenant has agreed to provide vacant possession, then it can only be assumed that the tenant would have to stay in the premises and the lease would continue until the lockdown is over. It would be prudent to email the tenant to confirm the extension. PRE-PURCHASE INSPECTIONS It is assumed that pre-purchase inspections will have to be delayed until the lockdown is finished. It may be possible for a seller living in the property to be sold to conduct an inspection through their mobile phone/video device. PROPERTY SETTLEMENTS The following comments are made on the assumption that Landgate and settlement agents will be able to provide settlement services during the lockdown. If the seller resides in the property and settlement is scheduled for the lockdown period and parties in their contract have adopted REIWA’s COVID-19 Annexure (form 194) then the parties have already agreed to time extensions for their settlement. 02.01.2022 Im gonna make a suggestion... Please dont take the little shampoos & conditioners from hotel rooms. Does anyone actually use them afterwards? I have had so many people contact me about whether I can donate them (through a page I run), and unfortunately the answer is no. Not really many people can use them, and Im going to have a guess that at least half ends up in landfill, and stays there long after weve gone.
