24.01.2022 SNAP CIRCUIT BREAKER LOCKDOWN Hey you mob! As of 11.59pm Friday 12 February ALL of Victoria is going into a Circuit Breaker Lockdown until Wednesday 17 March 11.59pm. ... We now have 19 live cases in Victoria so that means that we are back to STAGE 4 restrictions (see photo or link at end). Unfortunately we now have the UK strain of COVID-19 in Victoria so we have to be even more careful than before. This new strain leaves no time between getting tested and infecting others which makes it more contagious than before. That means when you check in on Elders or other vulnerable people to help them through the next 5 days, you must only leave care packages for them at their door and speak to them through a window or on their phone or app like FaceTime etc. This is really hard to do but we have to protect our loved ones more than ever. If you do have to visit them for caregiving, please wear a mask, wash or sanitise your hands before you enter their home and no hugging (really hard ). Our mob have done so well in keeping confirmed cases down in Victoria so it's now more important than ever we remember the work we've already put in to get here. These new changes mean that it's vital we continue to: keep following restrictions keep getting tested and isolating until we get our results. Where you can get tested: Call you’re local ACCO to find out where you can be tested Your GP Testing map - https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/where-get-tested-covid-19 You can find the latest and updated infection sites at https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/case-locations-and-outbreaks-co Full restrictions can be found at https://bit.ly/3qfWeTZ VACCHO staff will resume working from home 15-19 February 2021 If you have essential health checks you need to keep up, get in touch with your local GP or ACCO to organise an appointment. It’s also really important we reach into our supports right now. If you want to chat to mob anonymously, we’d encourage to call Yarning Safe'n'Strong on 1800 959 563 . They’re available 7 days a week - all hours. Be safe you mob, and look after each other.
