So while we've been quiet on the cruise front, we've been busy behind the scenes and we can't wait to show you all what we've been working on! ... One of the new initiatives we've taken on, is to select some of our most frequently asked questions and sharing them with you (along with the answers, of course). With the Coronavirus pandemic that swept the world we've taken measures to ensure your safety as well as that of our staff and crew. Here are some of the health and safety measures practiced aboard our vessels: - Physical distancing: Our onboard capacity has been decreased to adhere to Government directives and allow for safe physical distancing - Increased hygiene: All vessels are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised before and after each cruise. We've increased frequency of cleaning and sanitising of high-use surfaces aboard all vessels. We have also implemented regular cleaning and sanitising of toilets throughout the duration of your cruise. We appreciate your patience as our crew momentarily close toilets to clean and sanitise for your comfort and safety - Safety equipment: Food and beverage service staff wear protective gloves during service and whilst clearing tables - Effective sanitisation: All cutlery, crockery and glassware aboard our vessels are washed at high temperatures, using commercial dishwashers and disinfecting agents - Caring to not share: Cutlery and crockery is set per person and not shared - Sanitising stations: Touchless hand sanitising stations are available on all vessels - Screening: All Vagabond Cruises staff are required to declare their health and travel status prior to each shift.
