After a welcome by our President Mr Harold Lubansky, Rabbi Philip Heilbrunn sounded the great shofar then chanted a Psalm. Rabbi Dovid Gutnick our Chaplain gave a prayer and our Patron In Chief MAJGEN Jeffrey Rosenfeld addressed us. The Roll of Honour was read, which mentions the names of 15 members who sadly have passed away since the last Shrine Service. The Ode is is read and a bugler from the Australian Army Band played The Last Post & Rouse. Rabbi Heilbrunn chanted Kel Maleh Rachamim then our Patron Jack Smorgon said Kaddish. It was a most solemn and moving ceremony.
