08.01.2022 For those who missed our 80th birthday you missed a great day full of friendship, reminiscing, history, great food, shout outs for our fabulous supporters and volunteers who have made our hall what it is today and the fabulous vintage./veteran car display by the Maroochy Car Club. A lovely day for all involved. So proud to be part of this community and those who planned and made the effort to make such a memorable event happen.

04.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who supported our Car Boot Sale today. We had a good turn out and by all accounts sites holders were pleased with their sales. Thank you to the helpers. If we do one next year I think we will do it a bit earlier in the year when it is cooler.

Social researcher Hugh Mackay suggests that while we can keep in touch digitally it is person presence that satisfies our real needs to combat loneliness and disconnection. Valdora Hall welcomes you into our local community and encourages you to get involved in building a socially sustainable and rewarding community at this worrying time.... Our refurbished hall is available to local residents at very reasonable costs. $2 per person for community events. Use the hall for a gathering of mums, families, friends, art devotees, fitness activities, educational activities etc. We look forward to your engagement and an opportunity to attend our events etc.
