Will dark walls effect the resale value of my home? Darker walls can actually give a space a feeling of warmth and cosiness, and can be the perfect backdrop for signature furniture textures or pieces.... Shadows can be your friend - especially in a small space. Painting your room a darker colour can camouflage its small size. A deep blue/green like this creates the perception of depth. 09.01.2022 When a client approached us to help build a sustainable, recycled ecosystem in their backyard - how could we say no?! Jo was looking to create a peaceful and zero waste home environment for her and her young family. "Our idea to use recycled products in our garden and around our home is primarily based off protecting our valuable resources and creating as little waste as possible. For us it's really important to live as sustainably as possible!" 07.01.2022 Here's a work in progress we thought we'd give you a sneak peak on... Stage 1 of this decking and pergola area is complete - we've use Modwood-engineered decking boards, which is made from recycled milk cartons, making it a better choice for the environment than other materials. This timber also comes with a 20-year guarantee which is pretty remarkable. The aluminium frame is completely recyclable and is durable for years to come in all seasons of weather.... The pergola was constructed from Cypress timber, which gives it that beautiful grain and colour. The next stage of this project will be to complete the paving, create a custom bench seat with storate, construct a bar with an outdoor fridge and finalise the pergola structure.
