21.01.2022 This great news for any local females looking to continue or start their journey in the game of Rugby League! We are hoping to have an U13s and U15s at Valo for season 2021. It is awesome to see a pathway being created with our senior club!!

21.01.2022 It’s time. Registrations have now opened for all returning players (all age groups) and any new players aged 4-6 years. Please go to playnrl.com and complete the registration process. Fees are still only $130 per child. ... You will also need to enter your child’s/children’s training shirt size for their registration gift. If you have an unused 2020 active kids voucher please use it. PLEASE REMEMBER: New registrations will open early January and if your child hasn’t re-registered we can’t guarantee their spot. 12.01.2022 Mixed results for our teams playing semi finals yesterday. A massive congratulations to our 13/1s and 15 WT who have both booked a spot in the GF next weekend. Well played and looking forward to both teams doing the club proud next Saturday. 13/1s defeated Wests 34-0... 15 WT defeated Cessnock 10-0 Unfortunately our 14/1s and 15/1s went down in very close games. Congratulations on a great season, you can certainly hold your heads high. 14/1s defeated by Cessnock 6-4 15/1s defeated by Kurri 10-6 Also a big shout out to all our little devils, in a very tough year it was great to see football get a start and we hope to see you all next year. 10.01.2022 With the assistance of the coaching staff the Executive select 2 Club Captains every year from the U15s age group. At the end of the season we choose players from the under 14s playing group and normally announce it at Preso day. As you all know we are not able to have our Presentation day this year. So we want to announce it on our social media platforms so these boys still get their recognition. The criteria for these roles are: Players that we consider to be true clubmen. ...Players that have a good rapport with his junior players and adults at the club Players that are always willing to lend a hand and are happy to go out of their way to help others. Players that are polite. These 2 players will turn up at the younger teams training sessions, do touch judge for the younger kids games when possible and attend with our mini teams when they get the opportunity to play at events such as Knights and Lakes games. They need to build a rapport with the kids so they are comfortable to chat with them if they are having problems with other kids, coaches, skills and any issues that they are not comfortable to approach adults about alone. We believe that as a club we need to make sure that we have measures in place to address our players welfare and concerns. The Club Captains will always have the support and accessibility of the Executive. It gives us great pleasure to announce that the 2 Club Captains for 2021 are..........
